Rachel Jackson Leach
Rachel Jackson Leach, MSc Nutrition (Kings College London) joined the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø (then IOTF) in 1999.
In the early years, Rachel worked on collating obesity prevalence data for the Global Burden of Disease Project. Publications include those in The BMJ, Lancet, Obesity Reviews and Pediatric Obesity. She has also been involved in numerous EU Projects and currently on the OBTAINS project.
In addition, she is engaged in the Obesity Health System project which involves reviewing how different health systems around the world work in relation to obesity. During her time at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, Rachel has collated all the obesity related data, developed and manages the - World Obesity's online interactive database of information about the prevalence and epidemiology of obesity.
